Standards-based Infrastructure with Distributed Resources

In systems biology, research communities that produce resources have to face major issues related to data sharing and exchange, including that of using standards, ontologies, controlled vocabularies, exchange languages, etc. Creation of an infrastructure for distributed resources aims to address the above issues by providing research teams with a well-structured access point to shared resources whose quality will be specified and guaranteed according to international domain standards.
